Nominate Alumni
海角社区 recognizes outstanding and distinguished alumni each year. Alumni recipients are selected by a special committee of the 海角社区 Alumni Association Advisory Board through nominations by alumni, 海角社区 faculty, staff and friends. The awards are presented at the Pathways to Success Leadership event in April.
Outstanding Alumni
This honor recognizes individuals who have graduated from 海角社区 or Mason City Junior College. Typically one individual is selected each year. Alumni are honored for outstanding and professional achievement, and for bringing recognition to their alma mater through significant accomplishments and obvious contributions to their community, state and nation. Nominees must be at least 10 years beyond graduation. The honoree serves as the keynote speaker for the annual Pathways to Success Leadership Event in April.
Distinguished Alumni
This honor recognizes individuals who have attended 海角社区 or Mason City Junior College for a minimum of 30 semester hours (will be verified by the College.) The nominee regularly provides exemplary service to 海角社区 and/or to the community with their time and talent. Typically, between one and three individuals may be selected each year.
